Yoga Shala, Zen Island and Wellness Oasis

The Yoga Shala: A light-filled, serene space with expansive views of the greenery, designed to hold the energy of your practice with grace and quiet. The former riding stable houses a beautiful, heated or airconditioned yoga room with panoramic windows and wooden floors. The room is 45 m2 and has maximum space for 14 yoga mats. 16 yoga mats, 12 blocks, yoga straps and blankets are available.

Imagine a place where time slows down, suspended in the heart of the Monferrato hills. Surrounded by a sea of rolling fields and ancient grapevines,  the Zen island is dedicated to energy, reflection, and the art of being. Here, nature provides the ultimate backdrop for your teachings. Whether you are leading a vibrant morning flow or a quiet evening reflection, the sky becomes your canvas with spectacular sunrises and sunsets. In addition to the yoga room, the former riding stable has a massage room, a well-equipped fitness room, and a sauna. All with large windows so as not to interrupt contact with nature. 

For those looking to deepen their workshop experience, we offer two dedicated fire bowls. These are available for your private fire ceremonies, providing a powerful focal point for release, intention-setting, or simply gathering under the starlit Italian sky.

The Country House, group size

Perched atop of a rolling hill in a quiet, historic hamlet, our mansion is a true vantage point for the soul. Our grounds offer hidden corners for meditation and open spaces to breathe in the fresh Piedmont air. When you host your retreat here, you are immersed in a landscape of pure tranquility, where the only soundtrack to your meditation are the chirping birds. Experience the warmth of a traditional Italian estate, blending shabby chic with the modern comforts your guests deserve. Country House Montessino has 6 individually designed double rooms. In 5 of them, the king-size beds can be configured twin bedded, whereas this is not possible for one room (Dolcetto). Therefore, the room Dolcetto is mainly booked as a double room for single occupancy. Please note that we do not have any single rooms. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms with walk-in shower, aircon, heating and kettle with organic teas. Some rooms dispose of balconies and marvelous views on the rolling hills of Monferrato. Our house surrounds 3 hectares of land with olive groves, wheat and sunflower fields, meadows, and grapevines. An outdoor saltwater pool and a whirlpool await you in the garden.

For longer retreats of 4-7 nights or in low season also our holiday home "La Casetta" with 2 bedrooms is available, which is opposite the main house. Maximum group size is 12-14 people. Minimum number of participants 8 people, during public holidays (Easter, Ascension, Pentecost etc.) 10 persons.
